Web Wallet
Understand browser-specific trade-offs before using the Conceal Web Wallet.
The Web Wallet runs in a browser. This guide covers Web Wallet 2.1.4. Treat the browser profile as part of the wallet: other tabs, extensions, and shared use of that profile increase device exposure.
As of summer 2026 it is moving to Next Wallet. The legacy Web Wallet stays at wws.conceal.network for existing users and the transition period. After that, it will be deprecated and support will cease. Export wallet.json before you switch; Next Wallet and Conceal Mobile can restore that file. See Backup & Security.
Browser setup
- Use a dedicated browser or browser profile only for the wallet. Do not open other sites in that same window.
- Leave extensions off in that profile. A password manager is the one type that can look relevant; it still injects into pages, so prefer none.
- Private (incognito) browsing reduces leftover data on the machine, but the wallet will not stay after you close that window. Use it only if you will restore from an export each time. For everyday use, a dedicated profile that you keep is simpler.
- Clearing that profile, replacing the device, or losing the export interrupts access. A browser session is not a recovery plan.
Safer routine
Open the Web Wallet at wws.conceal.network and check the URL. Keep the dedicated browser and operating system updated. Test the address with a small transfer before sending a larger amount.
Do not send recovery material to a website, support contact, or person who claims they can restore the wallet for you.
