Conceal Community Guidelines
1. No Spam / Advertising / Self-promote in the Discord Server or any other official media channel.
Our community defines spam as unsolicited advertisement for goods, services and/or other web sites, or posts with little, or completely unrelated content. Do not spam the channels with links to your site or product, or try to self-promote your website, business or forums etc. Spamming also includes sending promotion messages to users. Your account will be banned permanently and your posts will be deleted.
2. Do not post copyright-infringing material.
Providing or asking for information on how to illegally obtain copyrighted materials is forbidden.
3. Do not post “offensive” posts, links or images.
Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on these forums. This includes user pictures. Use common sense while posting.
4. Do not cross post questions.
Please refrain from posting the same question in several channels. There is normally one channel which is most suitable in which to post your question.
5. Do not PM users asking for help.
Do not send private messages to any users asking for help. If you need help, make a new post in the appropriate channel then the whole community can help and benefit.
6. Remain respectful of other members at all times.
All posts should be professional and courteous. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective. However, you are not free to attack, degrade, insult, or otherwise belittle them or the quality of this community. It does not matter what title or power you hold in this server, you are expected to respect everyone.
7. No illegal activities.
Any trace or promotion of illegal activities will result in a permanent ban and will be reported.
8. Data Protection.
DO NOT ASK/SHARE email addresses, phone numbers or any other personal data. Your account will be banned permanently and your posts will be deleted.
9. Free Speech.
This community has a truly international membership. Many members speak English as a second (or third, or fourth) language. Be sensitive to cultural differences and the possibility that language barriers may confuse the meaning of your or others' posts. Think before reacting. The rules are not designed to censor opinions or promote the views of the team. However, keep in mind that you are a guest on a private server, so we reserve the right to remove content that interferes with the goals of the community. Discussion of politics, religion, or any other contentious political or social subject is off-topic and NOT RECOMMENDED. Please refrain from posting religious, political, sexist, ethnically or racially offensive, or obscene messages.
10. Bashing & Derogatory References.
No direct or indirect derogatory references to other members, communities or projects. A derogatory reference is a negative statement about another member/project. Often this is called a personal attack. The best way to avoid a derogatory reference is to not make an uncomplimentary personal comment or include an insulting label. Basically, address issues and arguments, not individual members/projects. Community members should abstain of denigrate, disparage and vilify other members, communities or projects. Bashing other people/projects in public channels is against our community rules and will be punished with permanent ban.
